Mattawamkeag River; Bancroft - River Camp

This camp is located on the banks of the Mattawamkeag River in the Town of Bancroft, the southern most point of Aroostook County. This area offers prime fishing, hunting, ATVing, boating and canoeing.

The camp sleeps four comfortably with sleeping arrangements for six people. There are two sets of twin size bunk beds and a full size hide-a-bed. It features a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom with shower, flush, washer & dryer, plus DirectTV. It has both air conditioning and a monitor heating system for your comforts. There is an 8' by 16' front deck complete with an outdoor fireplace just off the front of the deck. Also furnished are blankets, sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, towels, dishes, silverware, pots & pans.

The camp borders the Mattawamkeag River, and the Baskahegan Stream is within a short walking distance.
